There will be a parade on Saturday, January 19, to honor the 2012 Alabama National Championship Football Team. More information will be available the first of next week. Here are the basic details confirmed as of Friday afternoon:

•Parade will start at 1:30 p.m. at the corner of University Blvd. and Second Ave.

•Participants will include Head Coach Nick Saban, players and staff from the 2012 team, Director of Athletics Mal Moore along with other dignitaries and special guests

•Parade will conclude with the Walk of Champions and a ceremony on the top steps of the North Endzone, emceed by Eli Gold
