Alabama compliance officials are investigating whether defensive end Marcell Dareus broke NCAA rules by attending a party thrown by a sports agent down in Miami this summer.

The former Huffman High School star was voted the defensive mvp of Alabama’s national championship win over Texas back in January.

Nick Saban told espn.com that Alabama’s compliance people are looking into it.
