Blog: Texas A&M stuns Alabama
What we know:
•Alabama no longer controls their destiny for a National Championship, but the Tide still controls their future in the SEC.
•Alabama almost found away to climb out of the 20 point hole, but never could take the lead or fully take over momentum.
•LSU exposed the Tide’s secondary last week and A&M capitalized on it this week.
•For the second week in a row the Tide has lost the all important turnover battle.
•Up next: Alabama will step out of conference to face FCS Western Carolina.
Report Card:
Offense: B+
The Tide got off to a slow start before scoring 17 unanswered, but costly turnovers really hurt the Tide.
Defense: D+
The Defense had no answer for Johnny Manziel and once again couldn’t find away to get off the field on 3rd down.
Special Teams: B+
Special teams played well, until the punt return team’s neutral zone infraction.

Passing:
A.J. MaCarron completed 21 of his 34 passes for 309 yards with 1 touchdown and 2 interceptions.
Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel completed 24 of his 31 passes for 253 yards with 2 touchdown and 0 interceptions.
Rushing:
Eddie Lacy rushed for 92 yards on 16 carries for 1 touchdown.
A&M’s Manziel rushed for 92 yards on 18 carries.
Receiving:
Amari Cooper reeled in 6 receptions for 136 yards with 1 touchdown.
Kenny Bell added 73 yards on 3 receptions.
