BIRMINGHAM — Alabama and Auburn rank among the nation’s biggest spenders on college football.

According to a report from AOL Fanhouse, Auburn was tops in the SEC spending $28.8 million a year on football.

Alabama slots in at fourth with $26.44 million.

The Ohio State Buckeyes lead the nation spending $32.3 million.

USC rounds out the top ten at $21.31 million.
