In addition, 103.3 FM and most of the pre-game and post-game radio shows will include traffic updates. Fans may sign up for twitter updates at uagameday.com and there is also a link for a mobile website that will be more smart-phone friendly (Blackberry, IPhone, Treo, etc).
Street Closings for 2009
The same sections of University Boulevard, Bryant Drive and a few other streets in the core of campus will close on gameday like last year. Also, 7th Avenue (from Capstone Drive to Campus Drive West) and Marr’s Spring Road close three hours prior to kick-off. Again, these two roads will be closed to enhance pedestrian safety in those areas of campus on gameday. Also, Bryant Drive (from 7th Avenue to 10th Avenue) closes three hours prior to kickoff instead of two hours prior.
South Endzone Stadium Construction
Throughout the 2009 football season, the south endzone stadium construction will play a role in Bryant-Denny Stadium entrance/exit patterns. Please arrive early and note the signage directing fans in the construction area. A map of the south endzone foot traffic pattern can be seen here .
