Alabama crushes Mississippi State in Starkville 75-43
After leading by eight points at the half, the Alabama men’s basketball team used a dominating second period to pull away from the Mississippi State Bulldogs, finishing the game with a 32-point, 75-43 victory in Starkville, Miss.
The Crimson Tide is now 10-6 overall and 2-1 in Southeastern Conference play while the Bulldogs fall to 7-8 overall and 2-1 in the SEC.
Sophomore guard Levi Randolph led the Tide with 18 points, which tied his career-best, followed closely by sophomore guard Rodney Cooper’s 17 points. Sophomore forward Nick Jacobs added a career-best 16 points while sophomore guard Trevor Lacey chipped in 11 points.
Alabama returns home Saturday, Jan. 19 against Texas A&M. Tip-off is slated for 5 p.m. CT and will be televised by Fox Sports Net and aired on Crimson Tide Sports Network.
